Overdue Disaster
I am a walking overdue disaster. I haven't turned books in on time in five months--no joke. But, today, I did! I feel triumphant - I don't owe any nickles and cents (or larger fines for lost books - $34.90 was my worst).
Anyhow, the stained glass is above the doorway of the library and I just had to take a picture because I have always loved it. If you look close you can see children and their imaginations spilling into the sky. I just like stained glass. I love Tiffany's and can't wait to someday see the Rose Window in France - Notre Dame, right?!
The day is too pretty to type much - we're heading outside to fill the sky with our own adventures.

I adore stained glass!! I went through a phase when all my notecards were pictures of stain glass, my gifts were little versions of stained glass. My two boys about 8 and 10 and brought me home from tijuana a cheap, glaring knock off and they just knew I'd LOVE it and, of course, I did!!!
P.S. I would like my overdue fine to remain unuttered as this way it way it gives dignity to the giant amount.
The detail for the photo is great. Expand it an see what there is to see.
I definitely share your love for stained glass Ang. The most beautiful one I have ever seen was in a tiny lava-rock walled chapel in Haleiwa on the North Shore of O'ahu. The entire service was given in Hawaiian, but somehow it was understandable, and the stained glass depicted waterfalls, waves, tropical rainforests, bamboo & native Hawaiian people. I've never seen anything like it. It was incredible.
