Little Love

I love everything about the Farmer's Market - the wrinkled, sun-kissed faces of the vendors, the look and smell of the freshest fruit and vegetables. The flowers - oh, I adore the flowers. There is nothing like fresh peas in their pods. Chase will even eat them. So, this is just a little tribute to the pea. Little green pea, I love you.

I too love the little green peas, something I desparately miss here in the islands. You'd think they could grow good produce, but no, you'd be mistaken. Web Farm in Portola Valley has the best peas and corn, yummmm, I can taste them now . . . almost.

Ok that does it...some one schedule a trip to Web Farm. I fondly remember going to Idaho as a kid and getting the peas right from the field, still in the pod, still on the vine. They were great snacks

Farmers Market peas from the pod are just about one of the best treats I can think of. Next to Farmers Market berries. And maybe Pinkberry.

I love the Palo Alto Farmer's Market! I never realized that cheese, bread, and grapes could be a meal of their own until the Robinson's took me to the farmer's market.
