April Fool
Last night, I quietly emptied all of the cereal. I filled the Chex box with Legos, the Raisin Bran with marbles, and the Crispix with dried pasta. This morning when I poured the boys their cereal Chase got the giggles and couldn't stop. James just kept staring, confused; he even tasted the dried pasta. But, then I yelled, "April Fool's!" and welcomed the day that is sure to be filled with teasing and tricks.

I love it! Your boys are so darn cute! Ella ran into my room this morning and squealed "Mom there is a Moose in the back yard!" I ran to the window and looked out. I turned around and said "I don't see a moose out there are you sure?" Then she yelled... "April Fools!". She totally got me. :)
I love this! You are the cutest mom. I'm filing this idea away for a few years down the road--I'll add it to my "Angie files"! I just don't think Vivian would appreciate the humor of dried pasta in her bottle at this point in her young life :-).
You remind me of Grandma Wese. How wonderful that you would start the day out with trick for your boys. I love it. Great idea!
haha! that's a good one...and friendly. I am not a fan of most april fool's jokes...mainly because I am ALWAYS on the receiving end. But I think i could go for some leggos this morning.
i love it! i've been dying to figure out a joke to play on ty but haven't come up with anything yet. i'm so glad you did something to honor april 1st! i love that about you!
Oooo, that's a good one! Very sneaky and clever!
This is exactly like a good Grandma Wese trick. I'm thrilled someone is caring on the tradition.
Sooo Cute! What a great idea. I would love to be a kid at your house Ang.

I love it. Great idea. I can't wait to hear abou the rest of your day.
Funny stuff! I'll bet your boys were loving every minute of it!
What a fun mom...full of fabulous ideas! Storing in my memory files for a future April Fools Day.
This is so Robinson! Remember when Roy tried to hide the chocolate chips from us? We still sniffed them out in a secret compartment in the oatmeal can!
Great idea! You're the best mom ever! Your boys are so lucky to have you.
So...did your clever boys ever get you back??
That is so clever! What a fabulous idea. I love picturing James tasting the dried pasta. Adorable.
