Off-Off Broadway or Jazz Hands
I've been having so much fun singing and dancing and being down right silly as a cast member in a musical production. Here we are back stage in our "Yes, We Have No Bananas" costume - [side note about the fruit on my Carmen Miranda hat...Chase was hoping for fleshy peach but came up empty, but he didn't give up and tried again on the banana resulting in two deep bite marks].
The final show was Friday night...and I'm going to miss rehearsals, and being surrounded by people who really can sing and dance. But, I'm crossing my fingers we can take it on the road...Assisted Living Communities here we come!

Oh my gosh awesome! Looks like such a good time. I wish I were in a musical and could wear that hat! Although I admit that I act like I am in a crazy musical every day of my life. I sing and dance all out for my kids every day. And when I got engaged, I told Dug "You know you are my audience for life now!" Keep us updated if you go on tour :-)
Wow! That is so cool. I wish I had the guts to do something like that.
i wish i could be there to see the show! break a leg!!
You look gorgeous, Ang! Just stunning! And happy, too.
How fun and exciting, kudos to you. Is anyone going to record your performance so we can watch you perform. I wish I could come you live and in person.
If you guys are going on tour, I'm checking myself into a retirement community! You guys were amazing! We were all so lucky to get to see it!
I would have been on the first flight to CA if I had known! Will there be any pirated DVDs on Canel street of this production?? I can't believe I missed it - you look so great.
I am not sure I want to give birth in an assisted living community :)
After the baby, you better believe I am ready to go on tour. What an amazing time it was! I will miss the rehearsals and giggling with all us girls. I am not sure what to do with my evenings again, other than relax :)
Long live off-off broadway
what fun! You are definately more talented and much braver than I. Looks like you had a great time. Let us know when the tour begins!!
just made my day. LOVE it!
take it from the director....Angie was THE BEST!!!!
Angie! Thank you so much for the post...
I love the picture and I really miss it all too! I loved getting to know so many sisters in the ward that I hadn't yet (some of which have been here just about as long as I have...4 years-ish :O) I love how things such as a CRAZY-FUN production can bring people together....we definitly need a "reunion", so girls night here we come!!!!
ps..would you mind if I "stole" this picture and added it to my blog. My mother would do anything to see it!
I want a ticket! Hilarious about the hat!
joni, help yourself to the picture - can you believe it is the only one i have?! anyhow, i am looking forward to seeing emily's because i think she got one of every number!!
I had no idea you did this sort of thing. Awesome! That is about the last thing on earth I would dare do. Looks like a lot of fun.
