Call Me Smurfette
I wore bright blue tights yesterday with a simple black dress...and I felt fabulous. I don't know if I looked fabulous, but I've been talking about colored tights all season and I finally worked up the courage to do it! No compliments, but a lot of eye attention (the nice way to say shocked glances).

I am sure you looked adorable!!! One of my favorite friends in my parent's ward is a 80+ woman name Imogene Mayhew. She is from Kentucky and totally awesome. Her newest hobbies include tap dancing and kick boxing. I LOVE HER. Anyways, she always wears fun tights one of any color and pattern. One of my favories is for the fall, bright orange, purple, and black stripes. She always says, just because I'm old doesn't mean I have to dress old. She is my inspiration for having fun growing old.
Ang, I LOVED your blue tights. I saw you walk by and almost chased you out of sacrament meeting just to tell you just how much I loved them. So much fun.
Where can one pick up a pair? They are wonderful. Plus I loved the smurfs.

I love fancy bright tights! Sadly I haven't owned any since college though. The best was when I got to wear fuchsia tights with a bright blue shift dress and my hair in a beehive; it was in highschool and I was a 60's backup singer in a talent show... anyway yep I'm a stranger; more like a friend of a friend of a friend, just clicking around tonight. Cute boys!
I also bought a pair of electric blue tights this season! I needed a cheap way to update my wardrobe and I love tights--and I've been loving my electric blues.
The other night my husband and I had to dress up to go to a business dinner at some chi-chi bar, and he said, "Um, are you going to wear those blue tights?" Apparently he's not a huge fan. But the fashion model in my class gave me props on the tights, and I figure she's an authority--so we're both good to go :)
